Chris Larson was elected 14th District County Supervisor on April 1, 2008. The 14th District includes Humboldt Park, Wilson Park and Mitchell International Airport. Supervisor Larson’s Milwaukee County Board responsibilities include serving as Vice-Chairman of the Personnel Committee, and membership on the Parks, Energy and Environment Committee and the Transportation, Public Works and Transit Committee.
A life-long resident of Milwaukee County, Chris graduated from Thomas More High School in 1999 and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, with a minor in Political Science. He is an active member of the South Side Business Club of Milwaukee, Airport Area Economic Development Group, Bay View Neighborhood Association, Coalition for Advancing Transit Steering Committee, Sierra Club, Thomas More Alumni Club, Humboldt Park Watch, Bay View Historical Society, South Shore Park Watch, Arbor Day Foundation, Badgerland Striders and Tri-Wisconsin. Before being elected to the County Board, Chris was the business manager of a local sporting goods store.
With a strong commitment to improving quality of life, Supervisor Larson is working to advance the progress of Milwaukee County. He brings a strong work ethic to the Board and works hard to represent his neighbors in the 14th District. Supervisor Larson also cares deeply about maintaining and improving our great park system.
Supervisor Larson is an avid runner; he has already completed many marathons and looks forward to finishing one in each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia over the next few years. He also enjoys biking, camping in various sites all over Wisconsin, hiking and many other outdoor activities.
Chris currently lives with his loving Fiancée, Jessica, near Humboldt Park.
